The following is an announcement for the full closure of the entrance into the Sandstone Hills Development at the intersection of Sandstone Hills Drive and Colorado Boulevard in Spearfish.
Beginning Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the Contractor for the Colorado Boulevard Sewer Upsize Project will close the entrance to the Sandstone Hills Development. Sandstone Hills Drive will be closed between Colorado Boulevard and Windmill Drive. This closure is necessary for the Contractor to complete repair work from a previous project. In conjunction with the repair work, the Contractor will also be constructing a sidewalk (rec path) ramp for the now existing crosswalk across Colorado Blvd at this intersection. The closure will be in place for approximately 3 weeks until the work is complete.
During this closure, the detour route around the closure will be located on Colorado Boulevard, 27th Street, and Windmill Drive. See the attached plan sheet showing the detour route.
