The 2025 Spearfish Municipal Election will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th at the Senior Citizen’s Center, located at 1306 North 10th Street, with elections for Mayor and City Councilors in Wards 1, 2, and 3.
The Spearfish City Council members whose 3-year terms expire in 2025 include: Ward 1 – Marty Clark; Ward 2 – Larry Klarenbeek; and Ward 3 – Ana Rath. Mayor John Senden’s 3-year term also expires in 2025.
The deadline for filing nominating petitions was 5 p.m. February 28th.
On the ballot in Ward 1 will be incumbent Marty Clark, Raeann Mettler, and Dean Myers.
On the ballot in Ward 2 will be incumbent Larry Klarenbeek and Victoria Greenlee.
On the ballot in Ward 3 will be incumbent Ana Rath and Michaela Madrid.
The deadline to register to vote in the municipal election is 5 p.m. March 24th.
Early voting will be held at the Finance window on the first floor of City Hall beginning March 24th through April 7th, 2025.
