Formerly owned by Kevin Costner, Midnight Star to reopen under new ownership

Deadwood — After closing its doors 29 months ago, Midnight Star announced this week it had been purchased by a new ownership group (Lamar Feed and Grain LLC) for $1,601,000.

Formerly owned by Kevin Costner, the gaming/food establishment is set to reopen in July.

The company is trying to secure its gaming license, however, the liquor license transfer was approved by Deadwood City Commission on Feb. 3.
