Mile High Tournament
The Mile High Volleyball Tournament was held Saturday in Lead.
This year’s event featured 12 teams split into two six-team tournaments.
Rapid City Christian won the Terry Peak Tournament.
The Comets defeated Kadoka Area in the semifinals by scores of 25-20 and 25-9.
Then Rapid City Christian swept Gordon-Rushville in the finals, 25-13, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Mobridge-Pollock captured the title in the Deer Mountain Tournament.
The Tigers knocked off Lead-Deadwood in the semifinals, 25-16, 25-15.
Mobridge-Pollock advanced to the finals where the Tigers swept Newell, 25-20, 25-15.
