…HEAVY SNOW EXPECTED MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY…
.A strong upper-level disturbance will move into the region tonight. An initial band of snow will cross the area Monday, resulting in minor snow accumulations in the Black Hills. The heavier upslope snow will begin Monday evening, continuing into Tuesday. Additionally, wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected.

…WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM MST MONDAY TO 2 PM MST TUESDAY…
* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE…In Wyoming, the Wyoming Black Hills. In South Dakota, the Northern Black Hills and the Northern Foot Hills.
* WHEN…From 8 AM MST Monday to 2 PM MST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected. This will create dangerous conditions.
