…MORE UPSLOPE SNOW WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY…

.A weak wave will bring another round of upslope snow to the northern Black Hills Wednesday night into Thursday. Breezy northwest winds and plentiful moisture could allow for several inches of snowfall, especially over the highest elevations.

…WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON…

*WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible.

*WHERE…The Northern Black Hills.

*WHEN…From Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon.

*IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…A Winter Storm Watch means heavy snow, strong winds, freezing precipitation, and cold temperatures are possible. Monitor NOAA weather radio, local radio or television, or the Internet for updates on this potentially dangerous storm.
